MoU signed in Milan Between Danieli and the Agency for Emigration of Uzbekistan

Milan, 3 July 2025 — An important Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Milan between the Danieli Group, a member of the Italian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIUZ), and the Agency for Emigration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an institution operating under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The agreement aims to develop a partnership in the field of vocational training, with the objective of organizing specialized training courses for Uzbek citizens interested in employment opportunities in Italy. This initiative falls within the broader framework of internationalization and cooperation projects between Italian and Uzbek companies, which have been particularly strengthened in recent months following several institutional visits between the two countries. On this occasion, it is worth recalling that Danieli itself, during the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Meloni and President Mirziyoyev in Samarkand, had already signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan for cooperation in the metallurgical sector.

Signing the agreement for Danieli were Paola Perabò, Executive Vice President, and Marco De Gasperis, Manager of the Human Resources Department. Representing the Uzbek side were Bekhzod Muzaev, Director of the Agency for Emigration, and H.E. Abat Fayzullaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Italy.

Also attending the meeting were the leadership of CIUZ: Giuseppe Ferrario, Executive Vice President, and Marco Farci, Vice President and Head of Institutional Relations, confirming the Chamber’s strategic role in fostering dialogue and bilateral cooperation between Italy and Uzbekistan.

This agreement marks a significant step in enhancing professional qualifications and employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens in Italy, while further strengthening relations between Italian companies and the institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
