Mission in the Oil & Gas Sector for Member PEG

During the last week of February, a commercial scouting mission in Uzbekistan was organized by CIUZ for its member PEG Italy.

Accompanied by Giuseppe Ferrario, Executive Vice President of CIUZ, and Oibek Irgashev, CIUZ local representative in Tashkent, PEG (Progetti Europa & Global), an international leader in the development of EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Energy sectors, had the opportunity to meet a selected group of potential Uzbek partners to explore possible business development opportunities.

Among the meetings held by Serdar Shaniyazov, PEG’s Representative for Central Asia, we highlight several key Uzbek companies operating in the relevant sectors: Uzbekneftegaz (UNG) and Uztransgaz (UZG) in the Oil & Gas sector, Uzkimyosanoat (UKS) in the Chemicals sector, and Thermal Power Plants (IES) in the Energy sector.
