On August 28–29, the International Trade and Investment Forum “Do Business in Syrdarya” was held at the Center for Entrepreneurs and Artisans in Gulistan. The initiative, organized by the regional authorities of Syrdarya in cooperation with the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, stood out as the region’s flagship international event in 2025, attracting over 300 investors from 20 countries and 200 representatives of local enterprises.
The Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce also took part in the event, represented by its Tashkent Office Manager, Oybek Irgashev. During the forum, Irgashev met with the Governor of Syrdarya, Erkinjon Turdimov, and discussed potential cooperation between the region and Italian companies.
