April 23, 2025, Jizzakh Region – The International Business Forum of Jizzakh officially started today in the city of Jizzakh, birthplace of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, located halfway between Tashkent and Samarkand.
During the forum, the economic, commercial, tourism, and investment potential of the Jizzakh region will be presented. The area is known for its natural resources, modern logistics infrastructure, a growing tourism sector, and a highly skilled workforce. The initiative aims to strengthen economic and trade relations with international partners while fostering new opportunities for collaboration and development.
The event, organized by the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and regional authorities, brings together more than 200 entrepreneurs from 30 partner countries, as well as diplomatic representatives including the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy, H.E. Abat Fayzullaev.
The Chamber of Commerce Italy-Uzbekistan (CIUZ) is also participating in the Forum, represented by Oybek Irgashev, the Chamber’s local representative in Tashkent. Also in attendance is Belting Rezina, an Uzbek company owned by our member Toscana Nastri.
