On April 24, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Tashkent between the Italian company Acquaflex, specialized in water treatment solutions, and Uzkimyosanoat, the leading company in the chemical and fertilizer industry in Uzbekistan.
Representing the two Parties were Giorgio Veronesi for Acquaflex and Odil Temirov, Chairman of Uzkimyosanoat. The signing ceremony was also attended by Akbar Kurbanov, Deputy Chairman of UKS, and H.E. Abat Fayzullaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy.
The agreement aims to develop cooperation in the field of water treatment, process chemicals and food and beverage industries technologies, with the goal of optimizing production in Uzbekistan and serving both the country and the wider region.
This Memorandum represents a further sign of the strengthening of cooperation between Italy and Uzbekistan in the chemical sector, as also confirmed by recent trade exchange data between the two countries, in which the chemical industry continues to play a key role.
