In September, the Chamber held several meetings in Uzbekistan, represented by President Giorgio Veronesi, Executive Vice President Giuseppe Ferrario, and the Representative in Tashkent, Oibek Irgashev.
On September 18, Eng. Veronesi and Eng. Ferrario accompanied the Chamber Member Nigrema on a visit to the Uzbek Ministry of Investments and to the O&G sector company Uzbekneftegaz.
On September 19, a visit was held by CIUZ Member Misano, together with CIUZ Executive Vice President, to the Uzmetkombinat facilities.
Finally, on September 20, Nigrema and CIUZ, represented by Giuseppe Ferrario and Oibek Irgashev, took part in a meeting with the Investment Promotion Agency at the Ministry of Investments.
All the meetings were positively received by our Members, and we hope they will serve as a basis for future developments of collaborations between Italy and Uzbekistan.
