On Wednesday, October 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, during his visit to Italy.
Saidov, in Rome to attend the Meeting of the Aqaba Process, met the Prime Minister at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. During their conversation, the two officials highlighted the excellent state of relations between Italy and Uzbekistan and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Saidov also held talks with the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, during which he described Italy as one of Uzbekistan’s most important and reliable partners in Europe.
